The Stone Circle Livery weather station is powered by a solar powered wireless Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2. The Vantage Pro 2 is the best in weather watching technology from Davis and offers forecasting, reporting and on-screen graphing. At the beginning of 2009 we started to gather weather data to monitor the seasonal changes. For more information on web based reporting weather stations click the Weather Shop button.
The picture shows Paul, the Land Manager at Stone Circle Livery stood next to the Davis Weather Station at Stone Circle Livery. The station is located in an area of newly created woodland on the edges of one of the larger open Fields. The field is about 16 acres in total and gets the predominant weather so it is an accurate reflection of the actual weather conditions at Stone Circle Livery. The station is solar powered and transmits data wireless to the receiving station at the stables. This data is fed through the Stone Circle Livery server and then made available via the web.
